This evening I have implemented a nice new feature on Break Away Holiday Cottages. I have used Google’s Map API to create location maps for each holiday cottage based on their longitude and latitude. Once I got my head round it, this has been simple to implement and gives the site something extra that others may not be doing.
In terms of affiliate marketing as with any giving the user that little bit extra against your competition always helps and this fits perfectly into this site as people looking for holiday cottages can then not only see the location but also switch to see a satellite view of the holiday home that they will be renting.

You can use MSN’s live search api on the holiday cottage website now, the MSN live search maps is like google maps, only more advanced with 3d rendering, and north/south views!
