There have been goings on at Amazon Associates that have been missed by myself so this may be old news to some! They have finally updated the aStore with a key improvement which means I am use the feature more.
I have written an article in the past on this site about how to rapidly create a store site using Amazon associates, however, until now it has been something that I have used on a very limited basis. The reason for this has been that the templates provided for the aStore really did not fit unless you specifically designed you site around the aStore.
Seemingly Amazon have taken this on board and now allow access to the CSS for the templates, meaning that if you have at least some knowledge of CSS you can customise the appearance, colours and layout of the template to better fit with your site.
Amazon have also created a feature to allow you to create an ‘About this store’ page, which maybe of use if you were using the aStore as a stand alone website in its own right.
